Late model CL77 fork lower paint and Honda Cloud Silver spraLate model CL77 fork lower paint and Honda Cloud Silver spraI searched the form and can’t find the answer to what the “right” paint is to use for the fork lowers on a 1967 CL77? Is the paint supposed to be the same silver as on the tank and side covers or is it the same as the engine cover paint?
Also has anyone used the Honda Cloud Silver paint in spray cans (part # NH35M, http://www.boats.net/parts/detail/honda ... NH35M.html) and have an opinion of it? I have a couple of cans and am going to shoot a spare side cover to see how it looks but don’t have anything to compare the color to. One last question, is the oil filler tube supposed to be painted or raw? Thanks, Rich
Re: Late model CL77 fork lower paint and Honda Cloud SilverThe silver is a color that no other part of the bike is painted.
Different to the cases and more satin than the tank. Painted. ...........lm
About the closest I've come was using KRYLON Dull Aluminum with a couple coats of Semi Gloss Clear. .............lm
