Locked up motor

Before you tear it apart, you may want to see if you can free up the pistons. Make some penetrating oil - 1/2 acetone and 1/2 ATF. Take your spark plugs out and squirt some in each cylinder. Not too much - whatever you put in will come back out the spark plug hole if it breaks loose. Put an old towel over the top of the motor to keep the oil off the walls and ceiling.

Let it sit for a day or two after putting the penetrating oil in. Try rocking the bike back and forth with it in 4th gear or put it on the center stand and grab the tire and rock it back and forth. Some guys have apparently had luck un-sticking stuck pistons. Worth a try to see if you can fire it up.

That method worked fine for mine, which I bought with a frozen engine. It sat for a week and I played with rocking it often. Finally I put it in gear and rolled it down the driveway and it broke loose, spraying oil out the holes. Unfortunately the top end needs rebuilding and the stuck cylinder has low compression but your results may vary. It's sure worth a try.
