third fuel line on petcock

My 62 cb77 has a fuel line fitting above the 2 for carbs. It appears to be for a crossover line but the tank has no crossover on the other side. Any Ideas on this?

I will assume you have a CL72/77 tank and valve. After the 1966 issue bikes Honda discontinued the cross over tube on the left side of the tank and changed the valve also. ..................lm

I'm assuming this may be a late tank with early petcock but the bike is a early 62 Japanese domestic model and was very complete, even has the original "300 Dream" badges. Lots of 61 parts on it. Wiring harness tagged 1961 and loop on tripple clamp for speedo (in kilometers).
