hey guys, my headlamp only works on high beam. Are these sealed beam headlamps really hard to come by? it was suggested i should buy an H-4 lamp and solder the bulb assembly into my existing lamp. Any thoughts? Nation

You can find them. They are pretty pricey. There is a post that shouldn't be too far down where someone is selling lights with replaceable bulbs which is probably a better option than a sealed factory bulb.

I did replace my own. Cut the old bulb out. Expand the hole to fit a bulb socket, splice in the old connectors and plug it in.

I really like the H4 set-up I got from Charley's Place in SFO. Right around $100 and no Dremel required.
