How does it do what it does?

I have a CL77 with what I think is the wrong fuel supply valve. The supply valve has two outlet nipples to supply fuel to each carb. This is why I think the fuel valve is the wrong one, it also has an inlet nipple on the side of the valve that is blocked off by a small hose and screw in the hose. I believe this side nipple on the fuel valve is for a cross feed line from the left side of the tank to the valve which is on the right side.

My question is, if the CL77 does not have a fuel outlet nipple to attach a cross feed fuel line running under the tank to the valve, how does the fuel get from the left side of the tank to the right side? Just curious.

It sounds like you have the correct one. There is an outlet for each carb. If you look on the right side on the bottom of the tank you will probably see that the crossover tube is probably also blocked off just like the inlet on the petcock.

Thanks Kevin, will look again at the bottom of the tank. Did not see a nipple on the bottom of the tank, and the side nipple on the fuel flow valve had the side tube blocked off.
