CLUTCH WIRE RING

Hi all pulled the clutch plates out and according to the parts drawing there should be a wire ring between the first metal plate and first friction plate which it has but there is another 2 wire rings so i have 3 grooves in the clutch centre, is this correct and is the drawing wrong, and do these ring really need to be installed as mine are scrap as well as the plates.

There were 5 different center hubs and you have the 6 plate issue. ..........lm

When ya do the early HONDA upgrade (change the thin first steel plate to the thick one) you can't install any of the wires.
Ya can get the replacement HONDA center hub which allows the thick steel plate and 2 wires. ......lm
