using a superhawk carb on a 305 drean

Post by mschehen » Sun Jul 15, 2012 11:09 am

Has anyone on here had any experience swapping a superhawk carb on to their dream? I have been told that they are bigger and it will give a little more low end power? The same person said that I would not be able to use the carb covers and that just a little porting on the head would be needed. I am just wondering if all the trouble would be worth it.
Thanks

Hey LM

I was told this by a guy that I have bought a lot of parts from. He has been building dreams for years and has build a few race engines.

LM, will the carb covers not fit over the bigger carbs?
