Correct mirrors for 1964 CB77

Post by jon62 » Thu Aug 16, 2012 5:30 pm

I have just purchased a 64 CB77 Superhawk and am looking for the correct mirrors for this model. Any suggestions? Jon (Australia)[/b]

Its been a couple years, but I got them from my local Honda dealer and at a very reasonable price too.

I'd check there first.

Jon, I'll look out for a pair for you on eBay. Plentiful and relatively inexpensive, but you do need to get the right ones, as sellers will happily reel you in on a pair of 'long-threads' which are for early C72/77 models.

These are the mirrors that I bought for my refresh, Jon. Nicely convexed, good quality Japanese OEM fitment. I did need to put a slight torsional twist in the longest part of the shaft, but that was simply achieved and, with careful use of a vice, rags and ring spanner, left no damage to the chrome and allows me to see traffic behind me (as opposed to a view of the sky behind me).
