Float bowl gaskets

Getting ready to set my floats. When I bought the bike, the bowl gaskets were leaking and deformed. Some say that the gasket deformed due to the fuel we have to use today. I made gaskets and they work fine at present, however, like I said, I want to be sure the float levels are set to specs and I would like to put new gaskets when I put the bowls back on.

What is the best bowl gaskets to use, and where can I get them?

The Keyster kits have the square bowl gaskets.

These guys have the round bowl gaskets available seperately.

If the gaskets become swelled you can lay them out in the sun for a day and maybe get a second use out of them.

They were totally deformed never to be used again, I trashed them and made my own. The gaskets were a neoprene type gasket. I have heard of Keyster but didn't know their reputation for being the good set.

I personally think Keyster gets a lot of badmouthing. I think they are just as good as any other kit out there.

I used the round gaskets from retro bikes as mine is a 64 with early carbs with no troubles.

Both type gasket appear rubber/neoprene with a nylon core.

I have a set of squares out of Keyster kit that I'll never use(less I buy another bike).
