This photo was taken about 1962 with myself front center. The blue CB72 was an early model with a single leading shoe front brake and my black CB72 had the double leading shoe front brake. The red bike was a CB77. My friend Dale Lackey and me rode the blue and black bikes to the Seattle World Fair from Bakersfield, California, a distance of 1,100 miles. We returned in just two days, 600 miles the first day and 500 miles the second. The main reason we made the trip to the Fair was to see the world famous HONDA four cylinder racing bike that was in the Japanese display. I now have a 1967 CB77 that I plan to restore some day but even now it's fun to look at and brings back allot of fond memories.
