Re: Starter Clutch problem
Use the kickstarter. ;-)
If the rollers and the crankshaft look undamaged, that is rust free and shiny, it may be that the clutch just needs to be cleaned. Any carb or brake cleaner in a spray can will work nicely. Follow it up with a light lubrication with silicone oil. That's what they recommend.
The rollers should freely slide up their channels when you push them and you should feel the springs pushing back. If not then take it apart to see what's wrong. If needed you might find something on Ebay or elsewhere. It's the same part for all of the C/CA/CB/CL-72/77 series.

Re: Starter Clutch problem
Just did my C72 Dream with a repair kit off ebay.
You may need the tool to remove the magneto rotor. Don't use a standard bearing puller - it can damage the rotor.
The screws to retain the starter clutch to the back of the magneto are burred with a tool to prevent them unscrewing. Make sure you use a threadlocker on reassembly.
As Tim Allman said, the springs can deteriorate and the spring caps and rollers can get rusty and sticky.
Good luck.
