I found a set of stainless socket head cap screws online for side cases and the engine for CB/CL72 and CB/CL77's.

Just wondering if anyone else had used these and if so, what your opinion of them is.
Thanks,
Gary

I used stainless on my CA but I didn't buy a kit. I just bought all the bolts and washers I needed. I think it cost me about $25 from www.stainlessbits.com

I bought the full stainless bolt kit for the CA78 Dream but there were some issues such as there were no bolts that fit the points cover which was a real pain but for the most part the cost was good. I think it was around $25 and I had extra bolts with it. They sure do make the engine look cleaner though.

Your right about that. I had to rethread as well. Must be the same thread as the rear shock nuts. ThanksHahnda wrote:Usually you have to re-tap the points cover as the threads are JIS threads. JIS is an older Japanese standard that is no longer used and REALLY hard to find if you want replacements.
