Just came into a Honda Dream. was told it was a 1965 but think its a '64...anyway what i though was gonna be a easy restoration has just turned much darker as the motor is locked up and the kick start just ratchets. now being a A&P i am quite mechanically inclined but before i start ripping does anyone have a service manual for the rebuild of the CA77E 305? That way I am not blindly disassembling and reassembling? and where is the best place for a rebuild kit?

Why do you think it is a '64? Find the frame number. Left side down by the stop light switch.
I highly recommend Bill Silver's Dream CD. It has a shop manual included with parts manual and LOTS of other good stuff.

When i looked up the engine S/N CA77E-105433 it came up as a '64. The frame S/N CA78-105433. Thanks for the manual direction I will check it out. What is missing? just noticed this when looking for frame number...Let me take a stab and say the oil pump assy....

Matching numbers
Very unusual to have frame and engine numbers that match exactly. It is a '64. It looks like you have the late battery box on it, though.
Oil pump is missing. Did the PO give you any ideas why?

This was the owners 1st bike and she left it behind when she moved, so it was passed to a different family member. Than she reacquired it cause of sentimental value and it was just sitting used and abused as it sits now. She now has passed it to me cause it was of too much value to her to sell but does not have room or time to transport and fix it as her significant other was in a bike accident recently and is still recovering. now that i know it is missing i will look for it while we pack the rest of her house up. What i was hoping to be an easy rebuild is getting quite evolved now. not that i mind was just hoping to get on road soon.

Nothing like keeping it in the family. Your bike has an interesting history, for sure.
You will find that the year of build is not nearly as important as the frame/engine numbers. Honda changed parts any time they came up with a better one so the frame/engine numbers determine what parts came on your bike (usually).
If you are mechanically inclined at all, you should be able to get started with help from the folks on the site. Learn to use the search function. It can seem challenging at times, but it will help you find an enormous amount of help. There are not very many things that you will encounter on a Dream that someone has not already written about.
That said, I would not only find the oil pump, but find out what the story is about it being taken off. You could luck out and it may be something as simple as some one trying to change the oil. I agree with your instinct to get it on the road as soon as possible. I hope that will work out for you.
