I have my CL77 engine apart for rebuild and it is ready to go back together. The cylinder studs were removed prior to my getting the bike. I am not sure of the proper location for the 8 studs. There are three different types. Bill Silver's book does not tell the proper locations and the parts diagram is vague. Anybody got the answer?
Thanks

The studs in the outside front corners are smaller diameter in the center for oiling, there is a bigger hole in the head gasket at that location for an o-ring. Inside pair, back row, should be a little longer, the cylinder head cover is thicker there.
