New tyres have direction arrows for fitting on front or rear.
Not all tires have a directional arrow. I think it depends on the tread.

A rim liner is a very inexpensive must as well.

Just checked the tires 3.25x16" on my Dream. They're stamped 2012 according to the chart ,same year I bought them.
At least I know they haven't been sitting in a warehouse for years.
If anyone is interested I got them from Smalltires.com
