Well I purchased a kenda tire for a great price on eBay. This was a year ago and finally go to have it put on the rim and turns out to be 13 years old. Seemingly still just as soft as the other kenda I purchased new. Tire shop said unable to put anything older than 5 years on due to safety issues. Now they do work on primarily modern bikes. I know that some of you guys are using stock tires which are ever so slightly older than 13 years. Just wanted to get y'alls thoughts on the subject. Thanks James
