Would rear shocks from a 63 superhawk be the same as a 67?

Fitment-wise, yes. The only difference, AFAWK, would be the upper (coloured) cover, the earlier types of which were painted aluminium; latterly these covers are of (main colour) coloured plastic.
'63 saw the damper rates being changed at CB77-313133, according to documentation. All will fit all, but later ones should have improved ride/handling characteristics(?).

Now, there's a question! I'd imagine so, yes. I've not stripped an earlier type with the metal upper. Maybe someone who has both can comment. Sorry, the earlier '63 and some '62 upper covers were painted steel, not alu. Only '61 upper covers & the dampers' lower parts (also) are documented as being alloy.
