CL72 and CL77 Exhaust pipes the same size?

Hi Everyone,
Here's a rookie question that I should know.....Are CL72 pipes the same deminsion as CL77? I know there are variations with and without the exhaust can, but are the pipes interchangeable?

Basically, I've got pipes from a CL72 that I'm planning on putting on a CL77.....THanks!

CL72 pipes will fit the CL77 and are the same ID and OD.
