Well it's been just over 10 month since I started this restoration. Had to postpone the project for a while while working on other ones. However I just got most of the frame and body parts back from the refinisher, being stripped and powder coated. I'll be working on the restoration again.

Restoration Update

Finally found the old title and realized the bike is a 67 not 65. It's totally apart now with exception of the sub-assemblies. I just got the throttle slide out of the carbs. Boiling like I saw on another post worked like a charm. I like to think ahead and want to reassemble the parts that will back...

Thank guys, Will probably move slowly on this project. Too many irons in the fire (Young Marines, Fishin, Golf). George, So far have the have everything removed except engine/trans, electrical, fenders, front wheel and fork. Will be looking to restore to riding condition not show. This bikes been of...

Got quite a bit of it disassembled today. Appears that there are only 3 bolts holding the engine/transmission in. But it still looks like it is not able to be removed. Any suggestions?
