connector tube springs

Post by Dick Eastman » Fri Oct 02, 2015 7:35 am

The parts book lists "clips" and "bands", and I presume the bands are the springs that both my bikes use. I am having difficulty locating these that are not deformed or corroded.
Are these available new in aftermarket sources? If they are, any links?
If not, is there enough of a demand to have a quantity made up that would be an identical replacement?

Thank you, guys. You continually make my "favorites" list longer! Just got off the 4into1 site, having ordered some non-swelling bowl gaskets, drain plugs and a pair of Keyster rebuild kits.
My cousin Kathy and her husband Bob were over last weekend. I bought my first bike ['66SH] from Bob in '67 [it was a year old and had 2000 miles on it]. He stepped into the garage and had not seen a Superhawk up close since the late'60's. "Boy does that bring back memories!" He called Kathy out, and they related to me that he was cruising on his Superhawk at a local drive-in restaurant when he met her. Like they say, "You meet the nicest people on a Honda". They just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Fond memories for all of us.

Thanks to you, too. I'd purchased a couple of CB350 turn signal stems recently from 4into1 through eBay, but hadn't heard of them before. I didn't realize until I visited their website just now that they had CA & CB77 parts. Now their on my favorites list.

Thanks to G-Man for the 4into1 tip on another post!
4into1 has an E-Bay store, but their prices are higher there, at least on the items I was checking out.
