Primary Drive Sprocket: Loose! (on clutch basket)

Here's one from aCB77 motor # 1055222. It's not cleaned up, it's from a donor motor.

So from what I see, the only distinguishing feature of the cush drive basket is the presence of little arch-shaped reliefs in the aluminum "fingers." Both of my baskets have stepped reliefs with no arches, as shown in my original picture above.

I'm wondering now if I should try to tighten up my sprocket on its basket, or just get a replacement cush-drive basket. The saga continues...

They appear frequently on eBay; and thanks for the info, guys. I see the casting differences -- arches vs slots in the basket 'fingers' -- and, I understand from one of Ed's posts, the 4 holes drilled in the pressure plate, close to its centre.

This is a complete Cush Drive assy.
Other than visual differences the Cush Drive outer basket has rubber donuts in the aluminum basket at every rivit.
Never use a basket with a loose sprocket. ............lm

Thanks again Steves, and LM. I am guessing that it's probably not worth my time to try tightening the loose sprocket (by re-staking the rivets, or some such attempt).

Does anyone have a decent cush-drive basket that they would be willing to sell me?

My other basket is OK except that the fingers have quite a bit of wear from the friction plates (divots on the contact surfaces). I'll post a picture later, and maybe someone can tell me whether it's OK to use, or whether I shouldn't bother.
