Seting up points?

Post by christ044 » Sun Feb 24, 2008 10:19 am

Hi there, need some help on setting up the points on a 1966 cb72 with type I ignition.

Iv just rebuilt the engine and im fitting new points, only thing is the operating cam seams to hold the points open for more time than closed, is this correct?

Thank you Gary.

Just one question, do the points close to fire the plug or open to fire the plug?
