Scott - the tickler is fine. I prime my carbs the exact same way (pumping it a number of times) and it's totally normal.

Good to know Vince. I've been really scratching my head on that one. Neither of your carbs will fill by just leaving the tickler depressed? They were both functioning like that when I first put em on.

No, I think I've only 'tickled' the carbs by pushing the plunger in successive times. I don't think they've ever primed strictly from holding the plunbgers down. I can double-check with my mechanic to make sure.

Thanks Vince, I'd appreciate that. Any information as to what's "normal" with these carbs is a valuable addition to the library.
