Did you do anything with the seals or oil? I've been contemplating tearing into mine, they just don't work nearly as well as they used to.

No I didn't get into the seals. I had done a search but found nothing on replacement seals. There was one place that had shocks, but they were super expensive.

These shocks appeared to be in working order and weren't leaking so I left them as is. If there are replacement seals available I would dis-assemble and rebuild them. Have you found a source for the seals?

No but there was some talk on here not too long ago about it. I think in the section that covers suspension and some other things.

I've searched but found nothing specific. Some discussion about rears and front fork seals, but I couldn't find anything specific on the shock seals themselves.

I've worked on several of these shocks.
A bit tough to get the springs off. (but possible)
Really tough to get the shaft and seal out. (only time i do this is when I need to chrome the lower and adjuster)
These shocks dampen in one direction only. (rebound)
I've never found any replacement seals so I put the bad seal assy. aside for "MAYBE LATER". ...........lm
