Nice score! The front fender isn't even mashed at the rear! Don't ride off of any curbs or it will look like most others.

Again, I'm new......from looking at the pics it seemed to me that the most glaring thing is that the tank is different.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but like on my tank the chrome side panel angles forward in the front while later ones swoop back.

I know some of them have seams down the middle which mine doesn't also.

center fill tank no seam, handlebars, throttle, mirrors, taillight, seat, shock braces, 61's have "hump" crankcase breather, ignition coil, brake arms, fender gasket,speedo,brake/clutch cables. muffler rubbers. a few more minor differences but these are the biggies you can see from 50 feet away. nice find BTW.how old are those tires?
Thanks
Randy

I have no clue on the tires. I noted in the tire thread I brought up that the front is a Nitto 77. I guess they came on these? Anyway, no way it's the original one.

The rear is a Inoue. I'm not familiar with them. Seems tires are a common problem. No way I'm putting a sport tire on this. I love the ribbed tires on a vintage bike so I'll have to figure something out. The front is actually in excellent condition. The rear shows some age.

Looking GOOD!

Whenever you find out what tires you are going to get to ride on, don't throw those narrow ww's away like I did......someone will want them for a museum resto.
