I have a problem with my plugs getting all fowled up, turning really black and having to be replaced every-every other day........any suggestions....
Oh yeah, It backfired a few times today while trying to start it....

Clean the carb (all jets and passages), adjust the float and idle, check air filter, adjust the valves, adjust cam chain, check timing, then go from there if necessary.

Had a similar prob with mine in the beginning...turned out I was setting the float to the wrong spec.
Correct setting is 26.5 mm from gasket surface of carb body.
