CB77 right side case and kickstarter on a CA77?

Is it possible (and easy) to swap the right side case from a CB77 onto a CA77?

The CB kicks forward, the CA rearward, it's a no go.

For what reason; i.e. what are you trying to achieve? TMK the cover will fit the crankcases, but the alternator cover is different, as is the chainguard entry -- the CA has two (upper and lower) chainguards.

And, as Dave states, the k/s mechanism differs; the forward arc of the CB k/s would foul on the CA brake pedal. Conversely, the CB won't work with the rearward arc of the CA or CL covers as the k/s would foul on the CB's rear-set footpeg.

Thanks for the info.
I was just curious. From photos it looked like one of those parts that might fit, and might be interesting for some sort of custom where you weren't using the upper and lower chain guards off the CA77. I've seen a few CA77s where the chain guards were left off and the extensions on the case looked kind of out of place.
