Talked to the nice fellow at the hosting firm. Glad this was brought to his attention. He is going to get on it. Try to contact Micheal Stoic (not his real name).Maybe stop new registration temporarily. Maybe get a tech to clean it up. And, assured me the lights here would not go out.

Wait !
Checked my email. Hosting Co. has reached Michael, and they are working on a site update plan.
Site problems
Great news if it's true.
Whatever problems the site has had for the last year or so we should never forget the huge amount of work 'Michael' put in at the start to get this site up and running, at that time his enthusiasm must have been limitless!
Basically there's not a lot wrong with the site even now, get rid of the spammers, tighten security to make sure they don't come back and restore the facility to post images and that's about it.
Can't wait to get the 'old' site back, thanks in advance Michael!!
