I've very rarely got rid of any of my bikes and when I did I regretted it for years.
From left - 1982 Guzzi V50 - 'refreshed' in '89 after the gearbox seized
1966 Matchless G3 350 - A gift from my Uncle in 1980 - completely unrestored.
1977 Honda CB400F2 - ridden into the ground (35,000 miles in all weathers) then restored in '95
1958 BSA Bantam - acquired as a pile of rusty bits in 1989...
It's amazing to think that the 400 is now 37 years old.....

You'll stick around, I'm sure, Sara. You've caught The Bug!sarals wrote:The people here are indeed very special! Part of my persistence was from them helping me along. The people are a huge part of this journey, more even than the purpose - rebuilding the Old Girl. What I am going to miss is the interactions. I'm pondering now how to keep that going - it has to.
Thank you for those kind words, primer!
Great work! You must feel very proud (and rightly so....).
Steve - the Bantam is a D1, 125cce3steve wrote:Your 400-Four is the perro's cojones, G!
Great collection. Is that Bantam a D1 or a D3?
The 400/4 is a great bike in the dry. In the wet it was often a 200/2.......... :-(

Guys, thank you, thank you!
Oh, I am sticking around. Tic has Scrambler parts! ;)
Tic, I if I send the gauge cluster to Foreign Speedo, I may very well take you up on your offer. Thank you for that!
Finally - Graham...I am IN LOVE with that 400 Four! Gorgeous. That's one of the two bikes I let get away in my past - the other was the original CBX...if ONLY!!!
