1966 CA78

I have had her for about four months, now. Basically, bolt-by-bolt disassembled, inspected, cleaned, repaired and reinstalled everything outside the engine. Any broken, incorrect, worn parts have been replace with OEM Honda. All original paint. Period vinyl replacement seat cover. Fake tank badges. Next is tuning and adjusting. Hopefully, she will be road ready by spring.

I have a pile of receipts about 2.5 inches thick. I'm not brave enough to add them all up, at this point. The plan is to drive it for a month or two and then do the math.

I started to sell my 1966 dream about a year ago until I added up all the money was that put into the restoration. I didn't even buy the new repo mufflers instead I bought a used stainless set. The price was way higher than I thought and after seeing the cost I knew it would have to stay in the garage. I'm so glad that it wasn't sold. I can honestly say that it took less to do this bike than my 1970 Norton 750. (not by much though).

Dropped the engine for an internal inspection and complete re-gasket. Got it all back together and adjusted yesterday. Rides great! Thanks to all for the help.
