clutch plate adjustment CL77

Post by jbills » Tue Oct 14, 2008 9:10 pm

I removed a frozen set of clutch plates and have separated them. They are now clean and re-installed but I don't know how tight to torque the spring bolts. Can anyone help me here. Also, where do I position the kick start cog(?). I have a manual but like most, it does not address either of these questions.

Pull the socket to hard/firm on the spring bolts.
The kick lever must be at at least 11:00 after ya install the cover. ...........lm

Thanks Mouse,
I will loosen up the bolts as I cranked down on them previously...
