cam bearing removal/installation

cam bearing removal/installation
I did some thread searching with no luck....before I break something are there any tricks to removing and installing cam bearings? I was thinking about heating the bearings and freezing the cams for installation, but then again what do I know?
I usually put the cam loosley in the vise, and use a dead blow hammer to drive the cam out of the bearings. A socket the same size as the inner race works well to install new bearings on the cams. They aren't a really tight fit, so it doesn't require a lot of force.

No, the head won't melt down, if that was the case these bikes where not able to run on a hot summer day.

I punch them out and apart, clean, (carb cleaner, dry, blast with round glass) inspect, lube, reassemble and install.
No heat or cold.
I use crocus cloth on the cam lobs and points cam. ..........................lm

Whats the best way reinstall a camshaft? I was thinking I'd press the inside bearing back on the shaft inside the head, then drive both bearings into their holes. With both bearings installed outside the head, you would have to drive the inside bearing through the outside hole, then seat it. The old bearings are in good shape, and I plan to reuse them.
