I finally disassembled the rear shocks on my bike and found a bit of a disaster, not the least of which is a bent rod. Were I as adept and as well equipped as G-man I might take them on as a project but instead I have been looking for replacements. The used ones on Ebay are generally in even worse condition but I found some aftermarket ones, linked below.
Does anyone have any experience with these or know of another source? (Don't say CMSNL, they want over €700 each!!!)

Hi Tim
Your link doesn't work for me. I think David Silver sells replicas.

Re: CB77 rear shocks
That's funny. It worked for me when I posted it but no longer does. However, it will open for me now if I specifically open it in a new tab or window.
I remember that DSS sold all-chrome shock assemblies but I just had a look at their catalogue and there are none in it at the moment.
I'm also considering rebuilding based upon your postings (many thanks for them), assuming I can find seals.

You might want to check hagonshocksusa.com. UK based, but they have a US distributor. Check their applications list for CB72. About five versions available. I've used them on about six builds. Excellent quality, good ride. Regards, Chase
