Question on fitmen CA77 engine to CB77

Hi guys,

I'm in the middle of trying to find a replacement engine for my Type 1 CB77. I found a CA77 near complete engine which some parts are usable (see pic. below). My question is: is CA77 (305 engine) the same as CB77 and is CA77 type 1 or Type 2? (I can not find the right side cover so I do not know if this is Type 1 or Type 2)

I have a couple CB77 engines around. Two of them are original (stuck) and need to be rebuilt. Are you looking for turn key engines or ones in need of rebuilding? Where are you located?

What are you looking to sell one for? I'm wanting to rebuild one for my restoration.

Type II have the single point system I believe while the Type I has dual points/coils with a double lead single condensor.
