not ideling at all

well, i was able to ride around my ca77 for quite a while last week, but then it just died on me, the battery was dead, since then i have replaced the battery and the rectafier. Now i can't get the bike to idle it just dies, also recently i had the carbs cleaned and adjusted, this doesn't seem to help. <br /><br />any ideas?

Hi Ryan, Well thas jus wierd! Does it start and run but won't idle? If so, mabey its a carb problem not related to the charging system. With the new battery does the charging system work now? I'm leaving on vacation day after tomrrow so let me know asap.Steve Greer

hey, hope you have a nice vacation. Anyways, i think the battery and charging system are ok, the problem is that i ran the battery down trying to turn it over with the electric start. however i did just replace the battery and rectifier like i said anyways, should help things out. The ideling problem definatly has something to do with the carbarator no doubt about it. I think i'm going to take it to a mechanic today, i really don't have any desire to learn how to work on carbs yet.
