I used to use Comet as an abrasive type cleaner. then once I spilled some gas on my white wall and it cleaned it right up. So now I just dampen a rag with some good old gas and rub them down once in a while, Get's the pretty white real quick.

I have the same Firestone Tires, I will only use a product made by Westley's called "Bleche-Wite" and it works great for these whitewalls. You can get it at any auto parts store, I got mine at Advanced Auto.

I just spray it on the whitewalls let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off, works super!

I had a set I used the abrasive cleaners on and it caused me problems and I never could get them really white.
