Starter Chain

Post by byrdman76 » Sun Nov 30, 2008 10:12 pm

How loose should the starter chain on a 305 be. Mine seems pretty loose, but there doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it up. A Dream I recently picked up had some washers in between the block and the starter but that was too tight so i removed it. I assume someone was trying to tighten the starter chain since it was also very loose when I removed the washers.

Just looking for some input from other people since I couldn't find anything already discussed.
