It is a "O" ring inside the end of the shaft that the clutch is on. Yes there is a seal at the other end but as you look at the parts book you can see what this is all about. ...............LM

Found the seal LM, Thanx.<br />Flyhaven, I was looking for the o ring in the "Clutch-Left Crankcase Cover" schematic. I found the little rascal in the "Transmission" schematic after LM listed the part numbers.<br />Cheers!<br />dan
