Hi folks. I've ordered Bill silvers' cd but until it comes I need to ask if anyone could tell me if I am missing anything behind this cover. Am I?

, and other than the actual air filter, is there a filter box or something that is supposed to be in this area?

, thanks for helping out, Jeff.

Looks OK to me at the cam end.
Covers fit to each side of the frame to cover the battery and electrics and there is a 2 piece trim which fits at the frame and engine top case at the post with the 6MM threads. ........lm

I have no spark and it seemed like there was a contact plate for someething electrical behind the cover plate that I removed.
Anyway, is this the two piece trim you are talking about?

I will have to try to post to see if someone has an extra trim set they might be willing to part with. Also, how can I tell if this bike has been converted to a 12volt system or if it is still 6 volts? My fried battery has the number 12 on it. Thank you, Jeff

Take a better look at the area and all you will see is a 6MM nut.
The points are on the right side under that cover.
This bike was/is always a 12 volt system.
Have ya ordered the books and manuals you will need?????????????. .........lm

Sorry, I think I forgot to post a subject. I sent another one, although my "sent" box is still empty. Jeff
