10mm 305 spark plugs

I have a bike that is titled as A 1964. It has a ca78 serial number. This motorcycle has very small 10mm spark plugs in it, not the normal size as listed for A 1962 to 1969 dream. The plugs that were
in it were ngk c7hsa. My questions are 1.what motor or cylinder heads might this bike have in it. 2.
what would be the correct plug to use in it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

that's weird , my 1966 CA77 has NGK DH8A plugs in it and they have a 12 MM thread. your plugs do have 10 mm thread. all i can say is that my local O'Reilly Auto Parts (where i work part time) has 4 of them ( c7hsa) in stock

What is the engine number?
The earliest engines did have those plugs along with the cylinders and top case where the oil used the left/front stud as the point to enter the cylinder assy.
The common cylinder will have a hump/bump cast at the front bottom just to the left of the center for the oil to enter cylinder assy.
I recommend you apply "anti seize" compound to the plug if you continue to use that head. .......................lm

The serial number on the engine is CA77E-110917. I looked down on the front of the engine where the jugs meet the case and it says 305cc, I do not see any bump or protrusion on the left. Both side lok pretty much identical

The frame number is CA781015561

I'd say the frame is at least a 1965 and that someone has installed a 1961 engine. ...........lm
