Graham,
Thank you for the pictures I "requested", looking at it closely, I think, I might have a glass for you.
As I have never encountered these winkers, and it's not a request, could you try to fit these on the plate steer of your dream ? Do they fit ?
It could be that these winkers are from an older dream, but if they do fit on your plate steer, these are winkers that I didn't know that these existed.
I have a lot of winkers, not only for old Honda's, but also from other brands like Pointer, Colleda,
Not one of these winkers matches to yours.
It intrigues me that there are no inscriptions on the glass, is there somehow a Hm logo moulded in the aluminium (inside) ?

No markings on the lens or the casting but I cannot think why someone would make aftermarket winkers which included the lever perch. I have the levers to go with these two, as well.
It would be nice to think that they are genuine Honda and I am tempted to use them on my restoration but I have a complete set of normal winkers for that.
Some pictures showing the winker / perches reunited with the handlebar.

Graham,
These winkers are not after market, I never suggested that, but these winkers could be from another brand for another brand motorcycle from that time. As I can see with my own eyes, the fit is natural, and these are meant to be on a Honda dream, that's for sure. The only question to solve, from witch Honda dream, and where were these sold.
Many thanks for your trouble, again, a piece of knowledge and history is saved,

Thanks for your interest over this. I too am intrigued by history and to have your input is much appreciated. The castings are a little rough, in my opinion, but that may be because I have not encountered early Honda parts for a long time. Like you, I would expect to see some kind of mark on the glass or the body.
I wonder if those Parts manual pictures are inaccurate and that they do, in fact, refer to this part?
In my parts manual I have part numbers 33405-259-610 and 33465-259-610 which look similar but without the perch. The previous page which shows the 'regular' winkers is much more detailed so maybe they produced the manual without proper details? We need a German 305 member to show us some pictures, I think.
Regards
Graham

No, the parts manuals are not incorrect, the winkers shown in the manuals do exist, I have them, at least one example. There are parts, mainly due to country regulations, that are not mentioned anywhere. teher is also a change that these parts wher used only in Japan, and that these parts are pictured in a Japanese manual, I have several examples of this.
But there are also other parts, not due to country regulations, that are in fact just not in the manual, and therefor unknown when showing up. For example special bolts, and many other parts.
The parts manual is just a guideline, and the parts shown inthere are infact existing, but not all parts are included in the part manuals. i have encountered this before.
