What kind of boots???

Post by Ryan » Mon May 03, 2010 1:38 pm

Hey. Just wondering what kind of riding boots everyone has. Not too sure what kind of boot, or shoe I'm looking for. Any advice and/or tips would greatly be appreciated.

PS- I have a 1966 honda cp77

THANKS !

CruiserWorks boots for me. A bit pricey but very comfortable, waterproof and I've had mine for 10 years w/o a problem. When you divide the cost by the # of trouble free years, darn well worth it.

I have to agree on the cruiserworks boots.Had mine for 5 years now and they are great. The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever worn also.

I have a pair of Doc Martens (I think they are 14 hole), and I also have a pair of these:

For the money they are awesome boots -- I was actually lucky enough to get a pair of these for $50 from Ghost Motor Clothes in Wichita Falls TX when they went out of business a few years back. These boots are meant to be worn with your pants cuffs on the inside of them (see photo below).

Of course, I guess it all depends on what your 'style' is....Red Wing also make nice boots, but they can be a bit on the pricier side.
