battery cover brackets

Post by metauto » Sat May 22, 2010 12:34 pm

Hello does anybody have any pictures of the battery compartment. Especially the part that holds the bottom part of the cover mine is rusted away, and I need something, illustration, or picture to go by. So I can fabricate a new one. Any help at all. Thank you

Well, here is a pic of my CA77 (Early) Please note that the Yuasa battery shown here does not fit properly for the early Dreams. It was returned.

Thank you for placing your photo. The part that the battery sits on is there a slot for the cover to kind of hinge into is that how this works?

OK Let's try this. I took a bunch of photos of my bike concerning the area you're asking about. I hope you can make some sense out of the pictures. Jeff H.

You're welcome. For some reason I couldn't get the photos to be larger. Hopefully you can see well enough.
