gilmore museum vintage motorcycle show in west michigan

hi all,

wanted to let anyone who doesnt already know that on june 13, the gilmore car museum in west michigan, between grand rapids and kalamazoo, hosts a pretty sizable vintage motorcycle show. i have been the last 2 years, and plan on bringing my dream down this year, assuming its completed engine rebuild. i have seen a few dreams there in years past, so mine should have some company! the museum itself has lots of pretty gorgeous old cars, worth the price of admission by themselves, if you are into old cars. incidentally, the show is on a pretty curvy and nice road, good for testing tire grip.

i am 50/50 on whether i'm going. wont be with the dream, in any case, as it is still disassembled.....it is my last day with my son before i start a new job, so my choice is either ride my suzuki and ditch the kid with the sitter, or bring the kid in a cage, or not go. i havent decided yet. if i do go, i will def look for you, ken, you will be there with your restores, correct?
