Correct Speedometer?

Post by houseowax » Fri Jun 25, 2010 9:38 am

Try as I might I can't seem to answer this basic question. Most Dream speedos I see have an indicator light at 50mph. Mine does not. What is that light and is my speedo incorrect ( maybe from a Benly or ...) My (reprint) owner's manual doesn't mention the speedo light.
Also, it seems that the needle was red, no?
My bike's a '63- don't know if that's relevant here or not.
Thanks all.

Probably yours was a red needle before the UV-attack.
