Hi all,
I am wanting to finish up with my speedometer rebuild, but i've hit a bit of a snag and am looking for input.
i took the beastie apart and derusted and de-funkified as much as I could, sanded the face, put on the new decal, painted the inside of the housing, etc...
The white "gasket" that surrounds the speedometer glass has disintegrated into a chalky, fragile mess.
Does anyone have a suggestion for something I could use to replace that "gasket"? Or, conversely, does anyone have a source for a replacement? I really don't want to just glob a bunch of silicone around it, really...
Thanks,
CF

I sent them an email, and for something on the order of $16 - plus or minus, I was in business.

Thanks for posting that. I contacted them about making decals for the CB77's. They said they're interested but won't be able to tackle any new projects until summer is over.Captain Fantastic wrote:i did a search on this site and found a post recommending these guys:rrietman wrote:CF, where did you get a new speedo decal for a CA77?
