Fuel Lines?

Post by houseowax » Fri Jul 09, 2010 9:17 am

I don't have access to my bike right now and can't seem to find the answer anywhere-

I want to replace the fuel lines on my bike and don't know what size I need? Are they 1/4 or 5/16"? Also, I'm ASSUMING black, but does anyone know what color was originally used?

Black 5-6mm ID. ¼" = 6.35mm. Clear tubing is 'monitorable' but looks 'orrible! And soon yellows. The pukka stuff is on eBay Motors; I'll find it and drop you a link.

you can use regular ol' 1/4" fuel line but you'll need to install tiny hose clamps which look kinda funky.

Thanks a bunch, fellas. Just to be 100%, though- I have a CA77- it's 1/4" as well? I'm guessing so, but I see you're CB guys and the eBay listing claims it fits a number of CB's too.

Figure I'll go with the black and get an inline filter w/a window for 'monitoring'
