Well now this is what I seen on a 1963 I have mine at the back of the coil. I'm afraid LM is right,
checked mine, and it is mounted wrong.
But.... I also started serching for picturs on the net, and it turns out that I'm not the only one.
In the original pictures issued by Honda it is mounted backwards, so I know what to do tomorrow,

Thanks for sharing the pics Jensen.
I zoomed pic 1 in and I do see the Kick Lever but no Clutch Cable.
Pic 2 is of the later issue DREAM and is correct with the change HONDA made to make the system the same/similar as the CB/CL72/77 bikes. ...........lm
