how to remove side cover off completely. A small part of the kick start is in the way.

Remove r/h exhaust, alternator cover (3 screws) & casing screws. Depending on your particular model of Dream (i.e. clutch cable routing) you may also need to remove the r/h toolbox cover.
Take the load off the k/s shaft by holding the k/s lightly against its return spring whilst withdrawing the cover ass'y.
