Dual carbs and points on the CB....180 degree crank on the CB verse the 360 on the CA,tire size,tach drive on the CB,plus the obvious in the pictures just to name a few.

The biggest difference is that women flock to the CA77 and the driver.

Don't know about which is better for sure. I know I love my old CA. I also know that when I take it to bike night at Steak n Shake, it draws a bigger crowd than any other bike there.

I also know that so many women just love the looks and with it's size would be the perfect bike for beginning riders. With all the retro craze going on I wish Honda would dig back and put this on the road again. I think they would do quite well with it. Only thing I'd change would be better brakes and suspension and only slightly updated engine. Given that the Rebel's sell the way they do, power is obviously not the primary concern.

But maybe it's best they don't, that way I still have something truly unique.

As for what is different between the CA and CB, it would be easier to state what is the same. Light bulbs maybe, points maybe, cylinder and block maybe, but precious little else. carbs, head, wheels, suspension, frame bodywork, seat, most electrical, gear ratios, all different.
