I dont have a ball in the hole... Is that my problem!?
would that tiny little ball actually be whats causing my clutch to not disengage?
Haha, I cant wait because if thats the problem, its incredibly funny how much work I put in and didnt realize.. Hahaha
Also, is the ball the same size as the balls in the steering coloumn? Can I use one of those?
Please advise guys, if so I am going to have to find a ball....
It doesnt make sense if its just the ball though, becuase when I put it into 1st gear then push the little rod in that the ball touches (only moves 1-2cms) it doesnt disengage the gear by activating the clutch....!?

Wait... Correction!
So i took the casing off again, and I noticed there is a small ball in the hole... its pretty deep in there. I assume the sole pupose of the ball is to act as a race to the rod so it spins freely? I attached a picture below of it...
I haven't run my bike yet and Im wondering if it will resolve itself once I run it as I am noticing something very strange that I would like your opinions on:
When I put it in first and try to engage the clutch, it doesnt work, its stays in gear
When I put it in 2,3,4 it seems to roll freely (as though the clutch were engaged) without engaging the clutch
Whats going on here... Is this one of those scenerios I need to have it running for!? it used to engage the clutch when it was running but it was very shallow (probably attributed to the fact that I didnt have the clutch adjuster in place) when I ran it earlier in the year.
LM - I could use some assistance from you if you will entertain me on this one...

Clutch
Sasha, when you say the clutch is "engaged" do you mean the lever is out? That would be the proper way to describe the action. Disengaged would mean lever in. To adjust the clutch turn the adjusters on the cable in, then after loosening the bolt on the side case turn the large adjusting screw clockwise until you just feel resistance then back it off slightly(1/16-1/8") tighten the 10mm side-case bolt. Then adjust free play with the cable adjusters. I adjust my lever to have about 1/2" free play at the ball end. If the bike has been sitting for any length of time the clutch plates tend to stick together, rocking the bike back and forth in first with the clutch in will usually free them up...........................................D,
Re: Clutch
When the clutch is engaged i mean that it is allowing the bike to freely roll when in gear...
Thanks for the tip... I will see what I can get it to do.
LM - I will give you a ring today to discuss...
